A friend and I went out adventuring and we ended up at Monkey Rock. As we were going to leave I turned around and just loved what I saw. I setup my tripod and set my camera up to have a long exposure.

This shot was pure faith. I had my roommate stand in the light of the setting sun, turned on the overhead light, and had a lamp shining on her hand. I maxed out my shutter speed, and put my camera on continuous shots. That is how this beauty was created.

Luckily my roommate Darbie was tired of homework and offered to be a model for me. We went to the BYUI stadium and borrowed a soccer ball from a group of guys. I turned up my shutter speed and just let my roommate play around. The editing I did to this photo was cropping and straightening it.

My friend Ryan was kind enough to be my model. I went with him to the skate park and had him skate past me a few times. I slowed my shutter speed and followed him as he went past. This accomplished the background being blurry and him being in focus.
